The Museum of the Dog Remembers 9/11 Through Ron's Art

As we settle into September, and the 20-year anniversary of 9/11, I find myself feeling very fortunate that my hero dog paintings, "Bretagne" and "Otto" will both be on display in NYC at the Museum of the Dog. It is heart-felt to me to know that this special exhibit has been curated to bring awareness to the Search and Rescue dogs that played such an important role during the recovery following that horrific event. "Sirius"

I am also touched that The Center for Homeland Defense and Security (CHDS) at the Naval Postgraduate School reached out to me to include the image of my painting of "Sirius" in a book that will be gifted to their alumni and will consist of testimonials and reflections of their various students in fire, law enforcement, and emergency management. Thanks to the CHDS, Sirius and his dedication lives on today.
